I like to think of FRETS.COM as a sort of "shareware textbook." At around 2000 html pages, FRETS.COM is certainly the biggest single reference on fretted instrument care, maintenance, repair and restoration. Assembling all this material takes me about as much time (and money) as you might imagine.
