The high strings on a instrument are the ones which produce the high notes, not those
that are located physically above others:
High neck positions are those which produce higher pitched notes:
Only problem is that it means the peghead is at the low end, and the heel is at the
high end. If you think too hard on this, you'll get a headache like mine. . .
