Hollow Body Electric Guitar

Some dedicated electric guitars have bodies that look much like acoustic guitars,
but are generally much thinner, front to back:
This is a double cutaway hollow body electric.
Yes, it does have a bit more of an acoustic "voice," but it is considered
strictly an electric guitar. The hollow body contributes a good deal of tone "color"
to the amplified sound.
Like most hollow body electrics, this one is quite shallow:
An electric jazz guitar with a body depth the same as an acoustic may be referred
to as having a "full body" or "deep body."
