Martin's most elegant design
Pyramid Bridge

The most familiar guitar bridge among the early Martin instruments is the famous
"pyramid" bridge:
So named because of the stylized pyramid designs carved at the
ends, these hand carved rectangular bridges were standard equipment for most of Martin's
first one hundred years of production! Talk about consistent designs!
