A New Classic Gourd Banjo

Well, talk about your vintage reissue! Robert Thornberg has really done a fine job
recreating the earliest banjo style. It's a real gourd with a rawhide lashed skin
head. Modern violin pegs mounted in the traditional five string configuration and
synthetic gut strings serve to update this instrument for modern use. It's a real
winner.
So far, the gourd banjo isn't yet available through Gryphon, but I thought you'd like to see it anyway. Our old friend, Kevin Carr, just took delivery of this one and brought it by the shop.
