On order for a year, but well worth the wait
Unicorn & Mustang MF-5

Once again, Taku Sakashta hits a home run! His Unicorn & Mustang
mandolin (MF-5) leaves nothing to be desired. It's a faithful reproduction/interpretation
of the Gibson F-5s of old, with one major exception: Gibson never accomplished this
level of workmanship. True to his usual style, Taku has attended to every detail.
On my monitor, at least, the sunburst finish looks a bit red. In fact, the coloring is very much like the original Gibson "tobacco" sunburst (Cremona brown).
With a name like "Unicorn & Mustang," you might be tempted to think that more than one person worked on this instrument. In fact, Taku does everything himself.
