It's that same stuff the CNC crowd uses for air and liquid coolant delivery. The sections snap together to form a bendable semi-rigid tubing. Dan has adapted a length of this stuff for his shop vac to clean out remote interior areas:
It may seem trivial at first, but when you use it to suck up a reluctant mess deep inside a guitar, you'll be glad you made one for yourself.
