Here's a "Jazz Age" banjo of very high caliber, indeed. And, it IS
a heavyweight, with its solid ebony neck. Take a look at that fierce lion on
the heel with his glowing yellow Rhinestone eyes. He'd have been sure to take
a hefty bite out of your wallet if you wanted to buy this one when it was new
around 1930. Even as a senior citizen, he can still bite mighty hard.
Engraved elephant ivory inlay, more Rhinestones, pearl inlay, gold plated engraved brass parts, gold leaf incised designs on the resonator - this is one real "downtown" banjo! "Ne Plus Ultra" pretty much sums it up. . .
