Circa 1909
Fairbanks Whyte Laydie #2

It would be difficult to beat the combination of the cracking great tone, styling and model designation of the famous "Whyte Laydie" banjo by Fairbanks. This one is really special, too, because it's a small size model with a head diameter of only eight inches! A ladies model or high strung instrument in its day, I suppose now it might be thought of as the ultimate travel banjo.
