I couldn't capture it in these photos, but this thing has a second back and sides, so the perimeter holes actually communicate with the space between the inner and outer bodies. Make sense? Is this a way to isolate the vibrating back from the player's body to increase resonance? Who made it? Got me. I'll post more info if it comes my way. . .
