It's a little screamer
Victoria Piccolo Mandolin
© Frank Ford, 1999; Photos by FF
Made sometime around 1910, this little specialty mandolin has only a 9-1/2 inch scale.
Its styling is modest, with just a few ribs, alternating maple with rosewood. The
fingerboard is black dyed maple, and there is little decorative work. The tuners
are specially made, with the gears crammed together about as closely as they could
get.
