Faucet Washer Feet

This little 1950s sewing machine outlived the rubber feet under its base:

 

In fact, the feet were mssing entirely leaving only the mounting screw and the little recess for each foot:

 

Rummaging around the shop, I found some regular rubber faucet washers that were just the same diameter as the originals:

 

Because I do lots of repair work, I find a full set of lathes collets to be a basic necessity.  It took only a moment to find a good fit:

 

I used a sharp new end mill to countersink the screw head into the washer:

 

Good enough for this old Singer:
