Try this trick
if you'd like to avoid "impulse" buying every time you get one of
those tool or supply company sale flyers. Make a file folder for each company
that sends these things around and stick the latest flyer in there. It will
be handy when you need something so you can check the sale prices, but it won't
tempt you as it would if you kept it out for general reading material. Then,
each time a new flyer arrives, put it in the appropriate file folder, take
the old one out of the file and add it to your paper recycling pile:
