Another Reason Why I Love Collets

I want to turn a bit on the end of this 1/2-24 bolt, so I figure it would be quite a chore to chuck it up in my usual 3-jaw:
But, I can easily drop it right down into a 1/2" collet, with plenty of clearance:
Only the front bit of the collet does the gripping, so I don't have to worry about the head of the bolt getting in the way.
Simple as that, and I have just the right amount sticking out:
Mere moments later, I have the end of the bolt configured just as I wanted:
