I spent years sticking my T-handle hex wrenches back into their little sheet metal stand, fumbling to get the end of the wrench stuck into the lower row of holes. Once I filled the spaces with wood blocks and drilled through the sheet metal holes, life became easier. Now, when I put away a wrench, it drops right in place, guided by a full length hole.
