I have one of those cheap four inch paintbrushes I got at the "Dollar Store" mounted at the end of an old broom handle. It makes a really good gentle chip broom to sweep out tight spots on the floor. Often enough I'd like to retrieve a dropped screw or other little item, so I don't always reach for the shop vac.
