Fairbanks "Curtis Electric"
© Frank Ford, 2004; Photos by FF
Named "Curtis" after Fairbanks's son, this now rare modified version
was produced a year or so after the introduction of the seminal Fairbanks Electric.
Instead of having the scalloped support under the tone ring, it has a series
of vertical posts that are reminiscent of similar banjos made slightly later
by Lyon and Healy.
